The "Captain's Cove" is our Nautical theme suite which captures the feel of a rustic, yet luxurious, Sea Captain's Cottage. Sailboats, seashells and maritime tokens are reminiscent of sea voyages long since past. This Spacious Sunshine Coast Bed and Breakfast Suite is approximately 700 square feet in size with 2 rooms. This fabulous suite is self-contained with a private entrance and its own large ocean view deck with fabulous views of Sechelt Inlet and the Sunshine Coast, BC.

A Cozy Grand River Rock Fireplace welcomes you to the living room with a comfortable fireside sofa. Adjacent to the fireplace is a Deluxe Corner 2 Person Air Jet Jacuzzi Tub, surrounded by Tumbled Marble Stone and framed by romantic red silk curtains. Enjoy the fire while unwinding in your relaxing bath with romantic candles and soothing music from your CD Player. The private bathroom has a shower, pedestal sink, and heated tile floors. Also provided for your comfort: soft terry towel bath robes, 100% Pima Cotton Towels, cozy slippers, bathroom hair dryer, and complimentary spa bath amenities: shampoo, conditioner, soap, hand cream and bath salts.

This Sunshine Coast Bed and Breakfast Suite has a separate bedroom with an east coast nautical feel: soothing blue and white tones with white wainscoting on the walls. The luxurious bedroom contains a Magnificent Iron King Size Bed with luxurious white cotton linens. French doors from both the living room and the bedroom open up onto an expansive deck with spectacular views of the ocean and the Sunshine Coast BC.

Enjoy your Two Course Hot Gourmet breakfast, delivered to your suite each morning, from your private ocean view dining table in your suite. (That’s right, you get to enjoy a leisurely breakfast in your Pajamas!) Or enjoy breakfast at the table on your private ocean view deck. Our two course breakfasts include coffee, tea, juice, fresh fruit salad, freshly-baked-that-morning croissants, scones, and muffins. We use only the freshest of ingredients and our main courses include Eggs Benedict, Omelets, Pancakes, Waffles, and more! This suite also has its own snack kitchen with sink, fridge, microwave, glasses, wine glasses, dishes, cutlery, coffee maker, kettle, and tea pot. Also included in your kitchen: complimentary coffee, teas, hot chocolate, creamers, salt/pepper/sugar, and a bottled water cooler. Enjoy your own snacks and treats in your suite, or have dinner brought in – local take out eateries will deliver right to your suite! Or grill up your favorite dinner on the gas BBQ provided for guest use.

Your suite also comes with a private phone, a CD Player with a selection of relaxing CDS, and complimentary high speed wireless internet. Your fireside seating area has a TV with DVD Player and our guests have access to a Complimentary DVD library of over 500 movies! Other in-suite amenities provided for your comfort: beach towels, beach sandals, iron/ironing board, selection of magazines, candles, and binoculars to enjoy the marine view.

The Captain’s Cove Suite is just steps away from our Large Ocean View Hot Tub and Sauna. Our hot tub is located close to the suites, yet is privately situated. (Guests have ample private use of the hot tub as our facility never has more than 6 guests at one time.) Take a refreshing swim off our dock, then warm up and detoxify in our beachfront sauna! Enjoy our fabulous sandy beach with lounge chairs where you can soak up some rays or enjoy a beach bonfire at night. Sit on our private dock and take in the ocean scenery – perfect for that morning cup of coffee, lying in the sun, or enjoying a relaxing glass of wine at sunset!

All accommodation rates at our Bed and Breakfast include a Two Course Hot Gourmet Breakfast delivered to your private suite each morning! Many guests say our breakfasts fill them up until dinner! Also, Our Sunshine Coast Bed and Breakfast offers relaxing in-suite Spa Services to pamper our guests, and Sunshine Coast Fishing Charters and Scenic Cruises right from our dock. We also have our own private fleet of sea kayaks on our beach and are proud to be the only Sunshine Coast BC Accommodation to offer all-inclusive kayaking for our guests!

NIGHTLY RATE INCLUDES

• All nightly rates are based on double occupancy (covers up to 2 persons)
• All nightly rates include a Two Course Hot Gourmet Breakfast delivered to suite: a private relaxing breakfast in your suite!
• ALL INCLUSIVE KAYAKING: Accommodation from May 1st – September 30th includes complimentary Kayak Rentals for our guests!! With our own private fleet of Sea Kayaks, A Place by the Sea is proud to be the only Sunshine Coast BC Accommodation offering all-inclusive kayaking, right from our beach! MINIMUM NIGHT STAYS **

• One Night Stays accepted Sunday through Thursday Night. Minimum Two Night Stay on Weekends (Friday/Saturday). Some Exceptions do apply: ie. One night reservations for Saturday nights are accepted if the Friday night (in that suite) has already been booked together with a Thursday night.
• If a one night stay in a suite is all that is available to a guest, based on availability, the lower 2 night rate (for that season) will apply.  
• Minimum Two Night Stay in Summer Season: June 27th – September 1st. Exception: One Night Stays accepted June 27th – September 1st when only 1 night is available in a suite based on vacancy. For these one night stays, the two night summer nightly rate will apply.
